Job Summary:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial spirited sales representative to lead business development for our Compounding business. Compounding Sales Representative is responsible to carry out duties assigned by the Compounding Pharmacist. These include building, retaining and growing relationships with physicians and customers to direct business to Pharmacy. This will include a combination of internal and external sales which requires the rep to travel the sales area.
The right person for this job will have a proven track record of cultivating strategic partnerships and growing a business. You must have strong sales, marketing and operational expertise in the industry, and have a proven track record growing sales and cultivating industry partnerships.
Principal Accountabilities:
Build, retain, and grow relationships with physicians and staff
Proactively generate sales for new customers in a timely manner via cold calling, current prescribers and follow-up from leads from the Compounding Pharmacist
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Pharmacy?s compounding pharmaceutical products and services
Qualify, engage, validate customers? needs and close opportunities using strong interpersonal skills
Sell in accordance with company policy, procedure and culture
Recommend new ideas for growth and development of sales
Logs, tracks and appropriately documents all issues
Performs skills necessary to create a high-quality customer experience
Identify market potential and qualify accounts
Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements.
Foster relationships with new and existing referral sources in a specific geographic area.
Ability to work with pharmacy staff to meet the sales goals and take care of referral sources/customers.
Ability to use CRM, manage emails, text and cell phone calls.
Ability to explore new opportunities for business.
General understanding of our costs and pricing to our facilities and customers.
Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts.
Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services

Knowledge & Skills:
Proven ability to provide excellent customer service/sales
Strong written and verbal skills
Must have the ability to multi-task and have good organizational and time management skills
Demonstrates base behaviors such as initiative, accountability and value
Possess ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
Strong public speaking skills
Expected Performance:
Call upon your assigned physician?s accounts, informing and educating them on the potential treatment advantages of compound prescription drug therapies for patients who are dealing with chronic pain, dermatological conditions, surgical wounds, fungus, hair loss, and other complex medical conditions.
Using educational presentations, establish and maintain a special, valued consulting relationship with physicians in various medical specialties across the five boroughs and surrounding counties of New York and New Jersey
Utilize personal communication skills, past success in sales, marketing, and consulting, and Mega Aid's program of hands-on, guided training, to gain the confidence and trust of physicians as they consider using Mega Aid to prepare their patient's compound prescription drug therapies
Preferred Education/ Experience:
Bachelor?s degree preferred
Required experience:
Compounding sales: 2 years
Pharmaceutical Sales: 3 years
Business Development: 3 years
Must have a valid driver?s license
