Live-in Caregiver Job Opening in Middletown, Connecticut - The Supported Living Group is a seeking Live-In Caregivers with at least 2 years of previous experience working with individual's with disabilities in their homes.
Duties:
Assisting the client with personal care and activities of daily living that include bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, exercises, ambulation, transfers and medication
Providing normal household services essential to client care at home; including shopping, meal preparation, laundry and light housekeeping duties
Providing companionship and stimulation for the client; including reading, walks, accompanying the client to appointments, etc.
Reliable transportation a must; valid driver?s license and proof of current auto insurance; good driving record and clean background check.
Requirements:
Must have safe, reliable transportation and current auto insurance in your name
Must have a valid Driver's License
Homecare experience preferred
Must be able to clearly speak, read, write and understand the English language - bilingual applicants encouraged to apply!
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check (paid for by the Agency).
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
Previous CNA/HHA experience preferred.
