Director of ABI Services Job Opening in Norwich, Connecticut - Mindscape Industries currently seeks a Director of ABI Services for our fast growing Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) company based in Norwich, CT.
Job Description: Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer of Operations, the Director of ABI Services primary function will be to take daily leadership, management and operational responsibility for the company operation in order to meet the designated targets outlined in Mindscape Industries Mission Statement for client services, staff development and organizational growth. Additionally, you will support positive labor relations to enable a motivated, trained and a high quality work force remain in place at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop optimum levels of leadership, encouragement and talent development to achieve goals and objectives. Responsible for the management of specialized staffing teams. Manage, develop and review the performance of Management Teams to achieved designated outcomes. Ensure customer/client service levels exceed Company requirements through ensuring direct reports are exceeding the defined standards for customer/client excellence. Support and provide oversight with HR to the needs of all departments. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and legislative compliances. Deliver results and work effectively in a Matrix style environment. Manage and facilitate new business development by working with marketing. Create and maintain a safe workplace. Execute a defined strategy for all areas of the business in accordance with Mission Statement principles. Oversee planning, development and launch plans for all company strategies. Contribute to budget creation on an annual basis. Contribute to the development, execution and management of the operational budget. Develop and maintain relationships, awareness and knowledge of BRS, DSS, BRS, DMHAS and DDS service markets and requirements. Identify opportunities to enhance quality assurance and efficiency through process improvement. Plan collaborate and manage internal communications and awareness of corporate direction
Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to successfully perform this role. In addition to a Masters Degree or equivalent, the successful applicant will combine a minimum of 3 years' senior management experience in healthcare/human services with 3 years? experience measuring quality service levels creating residential programs or the successful applicant will possess a Bachelors Degree and 5 years' senior management experience working with individuals with TBI/ABI.
