Account Receivable Specialist Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - Position Summary:
Quirch Foods is seeking an experienced Account Receivable Specialist /Cashier to join our Accounting team. The position is responsible for receiving and processing all invoices, payments, and documentation for all truck routes. This includes updating manifests, updating customer accounts, maintaining CompuSafe, and reconciling the day's work.
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
Cash Payment Processing
Invoices stamped paid with amount and date
Update Cash Payment Spreadsheet to include: past invoices paid cash, employee payments, and misc. payments
Cash Payment Spreadsheet is used to post payments accordingly
Once completed, provide PODs (signed invoices) to Square9 personnel
Posting Checks
Post customer checks received
Maintains postdated check list
Reconciliation
Update Deposit Reconciliation CompuSafe daily and send to Accountant by end of day.
Scan Checks
Once scanned, print a Deposit Receipt with images? and save onto Credit Drive -Cash Receipts.
Archive scanned checks
Route Review
Verify and release accounts on hold as directed
Releases route and provides payment and pickup instruction to drivers
Brinks Deposit
Prepare Brinks deposit to include: deposit slip, cash unable to be received by CompuSafe, unscanned checks, and 3rd party checks
Update Brinks Deposit Book
CompuSafe
Ensure safe is working 24 hrs. If safe goes down, contact CompuSafe immediately & open ticket
Provide updates and training to drivers on CompuSafe
Updating all Manifests
Identifying invoices by: S-Signed, U-Unsigned, I-Comment/Paid, V-Voided, P-Paid C-Comment. If a payment is received, update customer manifest payment maintenance.
Any unsigned invoices, follow up with the driver and/or customer to secure a signed invoice(s).
Attach your manifest update to the driver manifest with CompuSafe driver deposit slip and archive.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of cash / check handling experience required
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both English and Spanish
Excellent Communication skills
Knowledge in Excel - Creating spreadsheet, pivot tables, formulas
Ability to work within a team environment
"Can Do" attitude
Excellent organization skills
