Sales Analyst Job Opening in Cincinnati, Ohio - Summary: The Sales Analyst II position is a key role within our Sales Department. This position reports to the Senior Sales Analyst and works closely with the business to create and analyze market share data, selling programs and customer profit models. This position is also responsible for creating and updating departmental score cards. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial acumen, strategic mindset and the ability work cross departmentally to help the business make good decisions and to identify potential opportunities. A strong understanding of Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables and complex functions) and Business Intelligence concepts is essential to this position.
Job Duties:
Create, interpret and communicate IRI Market Share Reporting to senior team; identify casuals and potential opportunities; ability to recap data and identify gaps to plan and trends.
Assist sales team in developing, maintaining and updating customer planograms utilizing JDA space management software to provide recommendations for cold vault and warm shelf placements.
Utilize ERT Tool (Cold Vault Optimizer) to provide recommendations on cold vault sets to maximize revenue and gross profit for both GJ and retailer.
Create, prepare and provide Business Intelligence Sales Reports and Scorecards in-line with G&J AOP goals and objectives to all levels of the management team as needed (i.e. daily, weekly, and monthly) according to established company policy and guidelines.
Perform brand/package economics for new products, pricing scenarios and promotions and performs post-program analytics related to price investments and break-even analysis for both Retail and OnPremise customers.
Perform ROI analysis on Retail/OnPremise accounts, evaluate OnPremise account profitability inclusive of sponsorships for restaurants, colleges and prestige partners.
Develop Ad-Hoc Retail/OnPremise Comprehensive reports or analysis (Full Service Income Statement, NEW ROI Model, Telemetry, Business Review templates, Commissary, etc.)
Assists management team in developing annual sales budgets for Retail and OnPremise
Maintains confidentiality of financial information, pricing and product costs, customer information, sales and market share data and other sensitive and confidential information.
Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of the normal schedule as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
Participate in any cross-training opportunities and other special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance with minor in Accounting; MBA/CPA a plus
Experience: 3 plus years of experience with a CPG company preferred
Computer Skills: Expert in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel Pivot Tables, Access and PowerPoint; experience with data warehousing and Power BI a plus
