Director of Culinary Services Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - Provide leadership and support in food and dining services to a specific customer group. Demonstrates a culture of accountability, customer service excellence and guest focused compliant care, ensuring all properties are executing at the highest levels, offering all guests exceptional service and outstanding food.
The field activities of the DCS is to protect the integrity of the brand by teaching and measuring performance in areas of product quality, customer service, cleanliness, compliance with all State and Federal Laws and profitability.
Conduct site visits to ensure compliance at all levels. Monitor results to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and referrals. Ensure consistent execution and delivery of products, identifies irregularities, procedure compliance, HACCP, menu and inventory compliance.
Complete a variety of administrative duties such as month end reports, weekly recaps of site visits and action plans created to correct current or future issues. The DCS will also conduct on-site educational training for employees as needed.

We provide professional, restaurant quality dining enhancement concepts that improve the dining experience for customer?s current client base and generate a calculable edge when competing for new clientele.
The successful applicant will have previous :
Bachelor?s degree or/and Culinary degree
Extensive Healthcare experience, managing multiple facilities and personnel
Managed kitchen with labor and operational experience
Critical thinking ? using logical and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Evaluating the qualities of things, services and people and being able to adapt to their unique situations
Attention to detail is a must, as is demonstrated culinary expertise. We want someone with creativity and passion to help us enhance the overall dining experience for our clients. Accountability, and the ability to communicate and execute are a must!
Salary commensurate with experience. Full benefits and bonus program available with position.
