Description : Gain valuable, hands-on experience recruiting, recognizing, and retaining a 100% volunteer staff, while contributing to a global health initiative saving lives around the world. Interns will work at least 12 hours per week depending on the intern's schedule, and participate in and/or lead at least two of the following projects:
Recruit needed personnel, in person and online, at local corporations, colleges and universities, and community organizations
Develop, expand, and/or maintain training manuals for all positions
Develop and/or maintain position descriptions for all personnel
Contribute to a building morale and a positive work environment by developing and implementing ideas to improve communication between and among shifts
Develop and implement ideas to improve satisfaction and retention
Develop schedules for staff
Train and lead teams of volunteers
Required Qualifications :
Very strong sense of customer satisfaction to recognize and correct minor issues before they become major problems
Strong communicator ? written, in person, and group presentation
Ability to problem solve with collaborative, team-building approach for process improvement
Detail oriented with exceptional follow through and ability to manage multiple projects

Business majors encouraged to apply.
Students seeking school credit, or international credit are encouraged to apply. Helpful if you have some human resources, organizational communication, marketing, and/or sales coursework and/or a faculty mentor available, but not mandatory.
