Software Engineer Job Opening in Mountain View, California - Guardian Analytics is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Visual Analytics team in Mountain View. In this position, you will play a key role in building our next generation SaaS based Visual Analytics product using Java and web technologies.
What you will do:
Build next generation SaaS based Visual Analytics product using Java & web technologies.
Apply multi-threaded Java programming skills with Hibernate working against large databases.
Puzzle out complex data problems.
Work in a highly collaborative team environment to define, design and implement our next generation architecture and products.
Write and execute test cases, interact closely with Quality Assurance to ensure timely delivery of stable software.
Your Skillset should include recent and extensive experience in:
3+ years of strong knowledge and experience with Java, Kafka, Spark, Cassandra and MySQL
Experience with database programming in Java using Hibernate
Strong Java Script and CSS skills
Strong Analytical background and troubleshooting skills
MySQL and SQL performance and schema design
Desired Experience:
Big Data technologies such as Hadoop/Pig, NoSQL
Data Analysis
Financial Fraud or malware/internet intrusion detection software
Writing batch operations against databases
Working with data warehouses
