We are a California office of a European company that has been selling high-quality Abrasives and Hand Tools for over 20 years.
We are looking for an individual that is both a hunter and someone that can effectively manage customer accounts in Southern California.
Responsibilities:
Set-up appointments and visit customer facilities on a scheduled basis.
Build and maintain relationships with production managers, suppliers, and contractors.
Network within companies to identify and connect with key people.
Identify current and future needs with customers.
Effectively present and demonstrate products.
Help decision makers select the best products.
Cold calling and research to increase market penetration.
Provide ongoing customer support.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree preferred Associate required.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
Strong communication skills, especially listening.
Ability to interact with all levels within an organization.
Ability to build solid and long-lasting relationships.
Strong organization and time management skills
Must have the ability to work independently.
Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
Participates in trade shows and conventions.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
