Position Summary : This position is expected to provide the necessary planning, direction and controls of all financial reporting activities of the company and institute systems and procedures to assist Management in planning and monitoring the performance of the company and obtain maximum growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and complete Monthly financial statements and consolidations
Conduct financial analysis and prepare supporting schedules for internal & external reporting
Evolve policies to be consistent with business needs, ensure compliance with GAAP accounting and regulatory compliance.
Liaison to internal and external audits and preparations
Prepare, review and approve payment processing, AP, AR, and purchasing.
Account collections management
Plan, coordinate and execute the Forecast and Budgeting process.
Prepare weekly cash flow forecasting and management
Ensure compliance and prepare federal, state and local tax payments and returns.
Participate in annual insurance renewals and insurance compliance.
Oversee Accounting functions
Mentor cross discipline roles to help professionally develop successful high performing team.
Other Office administration tasks and duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
Experience with multiple entities preferred
Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, filters, formulas),
Experience in Sage 100, HCSS, and QuickBooks preferred
Cash flow & forecasting experience a MUST
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, including senior management
Self-starter and able to work independently
Ability to prioritize work effectively and adjust to multiple demands
5 years of experience in Construction Accounting Preferred
