Key responsibilities:
Establish a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; staffing, orientation, and training programs
Building and maintaining relations with all employees
Scheduling management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; conflict management
Ensuring that the company is legally compliant by monitoring and implementing human resource federal and state regulations; conducting investigations and maintaining records
Implementing an effective employee relations strategy containing specific steps for ensuring the overall well-being of employees.
Provides guidance and support to managers regarding employee coaching and/or disciplinary actions
Resolves day-to-day employee questions and concerns
Job requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources is desired, or comparable combination of education and experience
Minimum 5+ of previous human resources experience, with demonstrated competencies in organizational development, legal compliance, and finding proactive solutions
Strong working knowledge and familiarity of HR principles, methods and procedures of Federal and State employment laws including FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA and ADA and EEOC regulations.
Hall of Fame work ethic, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor as the face of Colossal Health at all times
Basic computer skills (word processing, email, spreadsheets)
Ability to multitask (Manage a phone, while using email and IM)
Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver?s License
