Accountant - Northside Job Opening in Jacksonville, Florida - Outstanding organization seeking to add Staff Accountant to add to staff. Client offers outstanding work environment, fantastic benefits and growth advancement.
Responsibilities:
· Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements with footnotes
· Account reconciliations and accruals for accounts
· Uses ADP payroll system independently, books payroll to general ledger and can perform the quarter closing
· Ability to record transactions from brokerage statements to general ledger
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years of Accounting experience
· B.S. Degree in Accounting
· CPA preferred but not required.
· Understanding of accounting principles and ability to read financial statements
· Familiar with general ledgers, chart of accounts and brokerage statements
· Knowledge of basic bookkeeping: deposit checks, process payables and payroll
· Excellent computer skills, to include knowledge of accounting software programs: QuickBooks, Softpay, Microsoft Office
