Senior Programmer ? Winchester, VA
The Senior Programmer is responsible for developing robust, high quality software that meets all specifications, and complies with all standards and procedures, using various computer programming languages.
Responsibilities:
Design, prototype, and prepare systems, sub-systems, or programs that support business initiatives by coordinating with co-workers, clients, operations, technical support, and vendors
Assist with the preparation of test plans for the purpose of quality assurance testing of all software deliverables and product features
Enhance staff accomplishments and competence by answering technical and procedural questions and teaching improved processes
Designs and develops specifications for complex or cross-functional systems and data structures
Model business processes and data
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in Information Systems (IS) or Information Technology (IT) or equivalent preferred
5 to 9 years of professional programming or development experience in large-scale, multi-platform environment is required
Working knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Design Patterns, SOA, IOC, Dependency Injection, and Mocking
Experience in full software development, especially in the areas of: Visual Studio, VB, C#, TFS, SQL Server, WCF, , Web API, LINQ, SOAP, and REST
Experience in Agile Application Development / Scrum methodologies and Waterfall Development model
