D.C.-Area Sales Consultant Job Opening in Rockville, Maryland - Eatery Pulse News Media, a startup in the foodservice information services space, is seeking a Sales Consultant to help sell advertising, sponsorship, and consulting packages to foodservice companies, suppliers, and vendors that sell to the restaurant industry. Additionally, the sales consultant will prospect restaurants and foodservice companies for consulting services offered through our marketing services firm, including video solutions, content marketing and marketing solutions, including email and loyalty marketing.
Consulting packages range from $2,000 to $30,000. Advertising packages range from $300 to $10,000. Consulting solutions include digital marketing, reputation management, email marketing, content marketing and YouTube management.
Contract rates
20% to 35% of sales disbursed as collected. $1,000 bonus after 6 tier 1 solutions sold and collected. Graduated percentage scale increasing after 6, 12 and 18 months.
Goals
The goal of the Sales Consultant is to help
meet or exceed sales targets projected by the company,
develop sales tactics and scripts to prospect customers appropriately,
use prospecting lists to understand client profiles and provide effective solutions,
achieve sales tier goals to earn base compensations,
work locally in the area to manage customer relationships in a personalized manner,
and become an ambassador of the brand within the D.C. area foodservice industry.
Qualifications
The ideal sales consultant will have demonstrated business development or selling skills through successful achievement at past or present organizations for at least 1 year. This individual will ideally have experience selling advertising or consulting solutions.
The ideal sales consultant will be self-motivated and self-directed and be able to work remotely, but accessible for in-market meetings. Please have good communication skills, both oral and written, and references.
This is a contract position, flexible hours. 1099.
