What you?ll be doing:
You will drive growth by developing referrals from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, retirement communities, physicians, and other important communities. This is a business development position where you will educate the professional and consumer communities on Visiting Angel?s value, how we differentiate ourselves in the market and the benefits of in home non-medical care. You will work closely with the Agency Director to develop a Marketing Action Plan, which will include proper pre-call planning, clearly defined goals and objectives, complete and timely documentation and weekly schedules.
What we?re looking for:
Preference given for individuals with Bachelor degree, but will accept qualified applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated growth results, minimum 1 year in healthcare services preferred.
Experience in public speaking, demonstrated presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work well with a team.
Results oriented.
Ability to form relationships and maintain rapport with referral sources.
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, delegate and accurately follow through in work activities with time constraints and interruptions to meet deadlines, as well as, work independently with a minimum amount of supervision.
Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) applications, scheduling systems and contact management software.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
One year healthcare experience preferred.
