Information Systems Administration & Planning Job Opening in Merrimack, New hampshire - The Associate will manage the Information Technology budget, departmental reporting, project planning, and special projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Budget Management
Plan and manage Departmental capital and expense budgets
Code and post invoices, (expenditures and capital expenses), for the department including posting monthly equipment lease invoices for all stores.
Maintain Capital Expenditure log ensuring all expenses are accounted for with backup paperwork.
Complete P&L estimates for all cost centers (carry over dollars from previous month/s or acknowledge any significant expenses incurred in the month not planned for or not planned at all)
Departmental Reporting:
Prepare weekly and monthly reporting on the status of departmental projects
Coordinate resource planning efforts for all IT Departments
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 years in accounting preferred
College degree in Accounting or equivalent program desired
Basic project management skills
Proficient in short and long range planning
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Highly organized with attention to detail
Team player
Experience in Retail and/or Direct Marketing applications desired
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Project
Experience in negotiating with vendors and service providers desired.
Understanding of the regulatory requirements governing general IT controls desired.
Telecom experience and project management is a plus
