Accounts Payable Clerk Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - Seeking a full-time ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK, with some Receivable Duties.
We have an immediate opening for an Accounts Payables Clerk with some Accounts Receivable duties. This position will be full-time, Monday through Friday. This position will perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient processing of accounts payables and receivables. The ideal candidate will have the ability to process a high volume of data entry with a high degree of accuracy. We are looking for someone who is personable, well organized and a team player.
Position Details:
Sort, code and match invoices
Enter invoices for payment
Create and receive PO?s
Prepare check runs
Match up month end statements
Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
Required to consistently meet deadlines
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
Assist with other projects as needed.
Requirements:
3-5 years of related Accounting Experience
Strong Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer) skills required.
Excellent detail and organizational skills
Proven ability to work efficiently and independently
Experience with accounting software or billing systems is a plus
Ability to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
