Route Accountant Job Opening in Burlington, Vermont - Route Settlement Clerk
Koffee Kup Bakery, Inc. is seeking a Route Accountant. This position will focus on Route Settlement, daily check processing, weekly EDI billing, and Account Receivables.
The Route Accountant job duties include:
Reconcile daily route settlement of assigned driver routes for invoice processing by balancing loads, cash, and net sales. Making any adjustments or adding of product that is necessary to settle each route
Troubleshoot errors that may have been made and notate them on the daily settlement re-cap sheet
Communicate and follow up on settlement discrepancies including missing or late documentation
Process customer payments for assigned routes, following up on skipped invoices and over/short payments
Manage assigned customers accounts to ensure timely payments
Deposit daily receipts
Process weekly assigned EDI billing
The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
Strong customer service ability and excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and as part of a team
Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong PC Skills including MS Office
High School degree or GED equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software
Must be able to multi-task in a small office team, handling a variety of office functions and duties
Experience managing accounts receivables
