Director of Sales Job Opening in Trafford, Pennsylvania - ***Please note: this is an Open Hire position. There is no deadline to apply and will be continuously monitored until a hire is made.***
Job Description and Requirements :
Atlantic Coast Sports is seeking an experienced Director of Sales and Client Relationship Manager to work in our Trafford, PA office.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- 2+ years of experience in Sales within the Sports Industry with a focus on New Business Development.
- Familiarity with Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, Marketing, Sport Management, or similar area of study.
- 3-5 years Prior sports/sales experience preferred.
- Previous playing/coaching experience in Lacrosse & knowledge background in the sports themselves.
- Candidate must possess strong time management and organizational skills.
- Candidate must possess strong communication skills and be an excellent Team-Player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook) as well as Google applications (e.g., Sheets, Docs, etc.).
Duties:
- Perform daily sales calls to engage new Organizations, Coaches, & Teams to our events.
- Research new contacts (Organizations, Coaches, Teams, Parents) and build an organizational database for our primary sports (Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse)
- Introduce Atlantic Coast Sports into new expansion states (Florida, Ohio, South Carolina, & Virginia).
- Continue to build (& maintain) strong working relationships with multiple customers to ensure repeat business
- Ability to assist & engage an audience thru Social Media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Additional duties as required.
Travel / Hours:
- As needed. Candidate will need to be able to work from Atlantic Coast office (Mon. - Fri. 9am - 5pm), and as needed on weekends.
Compensation:
- Base Salary + Commission
