Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years? experience in hospitality sales
Experience growing sales through own efforts, including prospecting, cold calling, and growing existing customer base
Experience with customized menus, menu tastings, AV, décor packages, room capacities, bar set up.
Skills:
Expertise in onsite catering, meetings, special events and weddings
Need high energy, guest relations skills and quality work ethic.
Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Enthusiastic about exceptional client experiences and a positive motivational leader.
Excellent organizational skills are a must.
Hands-on professional with a passion for motivating others and a willingness to personally demonstrate a successful method of selling beyond goals and expectations.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary plus bonus incentive
Essential Duties:
Research business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their potential by analyzing sales options.
Sell weddings and social events by establishing contact and developing relationships with potential clients.
Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; research and recommend new opportunities
Identify company improvements or new sales opportunities by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
