Position Summary: This position is responsible for the cost accounting function and ERP user issues, reporting to the Controller.
Essential Job Functions:
Run weekly cost utilities
Close manufacturing system each month
Reconcile inventory and uninvoiced receipts monthly
Review cost accounting transactions & variances
Work with manufacturing to resolve inventory accounting and engineering master issues
Work with New Product Development team to ensure new parts are costed in the system
Perform cost rolls as needed
Other Functions include but are not limited to:
Serve as ERP system ?power user?
Perform other cost accounting and inventory analysis as directed by the Controller
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills required:
Experience working with an ERP system in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of ERP systems flow
Strong Cost accounting and variance analysis experience
Solid knowledge of the manufacturing process flow
Strong analytical capabilities
Word, Excel
Crystal reports or other similar reporting package experience helpful
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree ? Accounting
Minimum 3 years manufacturing cost accounting experience
