Corporate Hotel Accounting Coordinator Job Opening in Lake Mary, Florida - Hospitality Management Company is seeking a full time Accounting Coordinator for Corporate office centralized accounting.
Position Summary: The Centralized Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for providing accounting support to all assigned hotels reporting to our corporate office, as well as, all month end closing requirements of their assigned properties.
Essential Job Functions: Processing and accurately verifying coding of invoices (according to the 11th Edition of Uniform System of Accounts) for multiple hotel properties. Preparing approved and signed checks for mailing in a timely manner (or as required by law). Processing payroll on bi-weekly schedule. Complete the ?Month End? process including preparing journal entries for income, payroll, amortizing prepaid items, booking accruals and other items. Preparing an accurate Profit and Loss statement monthly. Reconcile bank accounts monthly.
Required Minimum Qualifications and Experience: At least one year hotel experience. A 4 year college degree or equivalent level of experience
Preferred Qualification: Education, Certification and/or Licenses: Advanced Microsoft excel Strong verbal and written communication skills
M3 experience
Multi-property experience
