Training and Staff Development Associate Job Opening in New York, New york - The Training and Staff Development Associate will work with the Training and Education Department to support the learning and professional development needs of CHN?s workforce. The Training and Staff Development Associate will assist the Director of Training and Education to work with subject matter experts to design and deliver in-person, e-learning and coaching solutions that equip staff with the knowledge, skills and motivation they need to carry out work-related tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
Create design and deliver e-learning and in-person onboarding, regulatory, developmental and organizational training tools for new and existing staff across all areas of the organization.
Provide ongoing administrative support of CHN?s online learning platform as it relates to user enrollment, tracking and troubleshooting.
Coordinate training logistics including but not limited to planning, organizing and facilitating training sessions, tracking attendance and completing any necessary follow up with employees and their supervisors.
Monitor regulatory requirements for staff training and competence to ensure that all requirements are met, tracked and documented as needed.
Consult and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop, update and/or change employee orientation, education and development programs as directed to ensure that training programs are accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date.
Assist in assessing the organizational development needs for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving organizational goals and objectives.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE REQUIRED:
Bachelor?s Degree in Human Resources or adult learning related fields.
2+ years of staff learning and development experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
2+ years learning and development experience required.
Instructional design: Knowledge of a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices and an interest in ongoing learning.
Strong planning and organizational skills related to scheduling and tracking course completion.
Facilitation and presentation skills: Strong experience and comfort level delivering trainings and presentations.
: A proven ability to effectively work with subject matter experts and translate complex information on a variety of topics into effective learning tools.
Design: Ability to develop accurate, interactive, clear and visually engaging trainings and associated materials (ex: handouts, and facilitations guides) that are customized to staff needs.
E-learning: Experience developing and implementing clear, comprehensive and interactive e-learning modules using software such as Storyline
Measurement and Evaluation: Experience designing effective learning evaluation tools.
Experience designing or delivering trainings related to management and leadership a plus.
Experience working in health care settings a plus
