Summary of Position:
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for increasing overall revenues. Full training and support is provided for our consultative sales and account development process. We need an enthusiastic, self-driven, and adaptable candidate. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for development of new business through a consultative and developmental approach. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining profitable relationships on behalf of the company, actively prospecting for new accounts, and maximizing sales potential with existing customers. The Outside Sales Representative is also responsible for proactive involvement in business community networking groups as determined by the Center owner as a strategic component of the overall Center Sales Development Plan.
We are looking for someone to create business relationships, not just sell product. We have numerous products our potential clients need and want, so building relationships with them that allow us to cross-sell all of our products will assist in achieving their marketing goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prospecting for new customers, developing new business, targeting key prospects, and retaining business
Lead sales appointments and order follow through
Present and discuss the products and services of the company in a way that conveys a superior image of quality, integrity, understanding, and fulfillment of customer needs
Understand and comply with the consultative sales philosophy/programs in place
Keen eye for good graphic design styles
Develop annual sales strategy in conjunction with management and identify joint marketing opportunities where applicable
Remain current on industry trends and new technology through review of key trade magazines and resources
Participate in area networking events
Communicate effectively with management and the design/production team, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met
Follow systems and procedures as outlined in company manuals
Participate as a key team player by supporting operations as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
Knowledge of sign and graphic Industry extremely helpful, including sign types, substrates, media, etc.
A minimum of 2 years sales experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM software, and other common programs
Professional, upbeat, and outgoing with excellent people skills
Detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated
Positive outlook, goal-oriented, and reliable
Self-motivated, ability to work independently, and be an integral team member
Clean driving record with dependable vehicle and valid driver?s license
Proficient in Internet search
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Keen multi-tasking abilities
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse customers and prospective clients
