Web Developer and Technical Support Job Opening in Dawsonville, Georgia - Georgia SoftWorks, a software development company is immediately seeking a candidate with strong web development and SEO skills who can also provide technical support and technical sales to our global customer base.
Comprehensive web development skills including website security, responsive web design, online purchasing, mysql, forums, blogs and social media management is required. Experience with OS_Ticket, a plus. Solid grasp of SEO, Google AdWords, Google Analytics and ability to get results is also required.
Candidate must be an outgoing individual comfortable interacting with domestic and international companies in both a sales and technical support role using phone, email and web conferences. Duties may also include any aspect of operating a small business such as marketing, documentation, web and product development, general office work and other tasks as needed. Inclusion in the after-hours support rotation duty is expected.
Excellent technical and communication skills are required. Individual must have initiative, be self-starting, able to learn on your own as well as work in a team environment. A ?get it done? work ethic is necessary.

General Technical Requirements
Strong web development skills such as with CentOS, Laravel, OctoberCMS, etc.
Network Security, SSH, Public/Private key encryption, digital certificates
Networking concepts, IP addressing, routers, switches, modems, etc.
Windows Server Operating systems (up through Server 2016)

Support for GSW Products
All aspects of product support, server side, client side including mobile devices (Windows CE, Windows Mobile), web server based etc
Support ticket management, phone and email support including after-hours on call
GoToAssist and GoToMeeting. Webinars and conference calls
Update and maintenance of support web site and forums
Customer training, tutorial creation etc.
Production ? CD duplication, label printing, mailers etc.
Sales/Marketing * Email blasts and maintenance * Develop and present presentation / webinars * Organize and present at trade shows * Produce marketing and sales materials, press releases * Proposals, estimates etc. * Web site analytics, advertising, etc.
Office Duties * Everything from answering phones to taking out the trash
