Software Engineer, Web Job Opening in Richardson, Texas - Sentinel IPS is looking for someone excited to be the curator of our web application architecture from front-end javascript to backend API services. This person will wear multiple hats, should be eager to learn new skills, and must have the ability to interface with customers on a frequent basis. We're looking for someone with a strong portfolio in modern web technologies (frontend and backend).
Required Skills
Strong UI, Design, and Data Visualization skills
Solid understanding of modern web applications
Real-world experience with Django, Python, Javascript, SQL and Relational Databases
Proficient in HTTP and RESTful API services
Ability to write code from scratch in Python, Javascript, HTML5, and CSS
Communicate effectively and participate in design and code reviews
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
Exposure to AWS and Google Cloud technologies
Experience with Networking (e.g TCP/IP), Linux/BSD, and DevOps
