Senior Accountant (Healthcare) Job Opening in Sistersville, West virginia - Responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze hospital financial information while measuring the efficiency of current operations. This will be accomplished through management of financial operations, reviewing systems operations, preparing accurate and timely financial statements, and ensuring appropriate accounting controls.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA/MBA preferred
Three years to five years experience in preparation of financial statements, healthcare preferred
Knowledge of payroll, accounts receivables, accounts payable
Knowledge and experience with accounting computer applications
Knowledge of auditing practices and principles
Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle and federal and state reimbursement regulations
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
