Business Development Sales Manager Job Opening in Los Angeles, California - IWD (), a Paris-based retail thinking agency is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the role of Business Development Sales Manager out of its Santa Monica, CA office. This role is responsible for creating and implementing lead generation efforts throughout the West Coast.
Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Reviewing and expanding our current clients? database to identify potential opportunities (including cold calling) and networking to build business information that will be converted into business
Work closely with the Client Success Director to discover new opportunities for growth
Book, manage your own portfolio of prospects, attend and lead meetings with them
Discover prospects? needs and use your sharp communication skills to build an present sales proposals
Generate leads to transform opportunities into sales and meet or exceed semester sales goals and follow up the sales
The ideal candidate will
Enjoy working in a start-up environment with a great team
Enhance her/his abilities to convert leads into opportunities by staying up to date on the competition as well as industry trends ideally in US retail and technologies
Desire to talk about what we can offer to our clients via multiple channels (phone, email, ) without being overly pushy

Required skills
Education: Bachelor?s Degree or higher
Communication and tools: excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Organization: this position requires a strong attention to detail
Experience: professional experience in sales required (1-2 years), ideally for a SaaS company
