The Position
At ASM, the Sales Development Specialist plays a key role in creating and developing sales opportunities by generating qualified leads for the residential (B2C) and commercial (B2B) sales teams.
The main objective of the role is to help ASM continue to grow at a record pace by qualifying BOTH inbound & outbound leads with the intent of scheduling appointments and delivering valid opportunities to the residential (B2C) & commercial (B2B) sales teams.

Responsibilities:
B2C & B2B prospecting via cold-calling, networking, e-mail/e-marketing, internet research
Thoroughly updating and reporting lead qualifying activities & processes utilizing the CRM databases
Articulate ASM?s value proposition to B2C & B2B decision-makers to assess level of interest
Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting call
Contribute to every component of fulfilling the sales cycle (forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance and data entry, correspondence, and communications)
Engage with social media platforms such as , Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, etc.
Desired Skills & Experience
2+ years at a B2C or B2B organization in an inside lead or sales development role
Ability to understand and successfully promote residential & commercial services
Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, listening and cold-calling
Knowledge of a CRM tool, Microsoft Office Suite and various email clients is a plus
Solid understanding of social media tools including , Facebook, Twitter, etc.
