Cash Application Specialist Job Opening in Westerville, Ohio - DASCO Home Medical Equipment is looking for motivated, positive and hard working Cash Application Specialist for its Westerville corporate office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Cash Application Specialist applies payments received and makes necessary adjustments to patient and customer accounts, researches and resolves discrepancies, and supports the department with a variety of clerical functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Applies insurance and patient payments.
Researches and resolves payment discrepancies.
Processes credit card payments and credits.
Makes adjustments to accounts as needed, within established company guidelines.
Provides departmental clerical support as needed.
Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Six months related experience in a environment.
