Senior Accountant Job Opening in Wilmington, Delaware - Major pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing organization seeks Senior Accountant. General Requirements (Skills, Competencies, Background)
Strong financial system acumen, including strong working knowledge of internal controls
Excellent PC skills and experience including Hyperion and Excel
Strong analytical ability, high degree of accuracy with attention to detail
Strong project management skills, with ability to progress aggressive project timelines with urgency and speed
Ability to perform in an environment that emphasizes teamwork to meet deliverables
Capability to meet strict deadlines with a high level of ownership and strong sense of urgency
Business Planning & Analysis (Budget Submission)
Assist in the preparation of templates that support the US Budget submission.
Data organization and manipulation on a large data set with multiple interdependencies and reconciliation points.
Strong experience set with Hyperion
Management presentation slide preparation (charts, graphs, P&L?s) and reconciliation to data sources and other content.
Gross to Net (Audit Recommendation Implementation)
Project management support to implement enhanced control structure across several key GTN areas (MM rebates, Coupons, DSA, etc.) under aggressive timelines (completion by close of September)
Coordinate cross-functional meetings to discuss proposed new controls, seek alignment and help to support documentation and implementation of new control structure
Ensure control owners are aware of their new responsibilities and the teams are set up for success for the year-end audit procedures
