Experienced Tax Preparer Job Opening in Albert Lea, Minnesota - Tri-State Tax & Accounting is searching for a full time, experienced tax preparer. Must be friendly, outgoing, and hard-working. Bookkeeping and accounting experience is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate. Hours are 32 per week May through December, and 50-60 hours per week during tax season (January through April).

Job duties:
-prepare taxes for individuals using Ultratax software
-interpret tax law
-assist clients in tax planning
-bookkeeping
-payroll
-other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements: three (3) years of tax preparation experience.
