Part time staff accountant Job Opening in Fresno, California - This is a permanent part-time position 15-25 hours per week during off-season, (May ? Jan 15) and expanded to 30- 40 hours per week during tax season (Jan 15 ? Apr). Schedule is flexible.
At least 3 years experience in compilation and review engagements, work paper preparation through drafting of financial statements in a public accounting environment.
Knowledge of GAAP and non-GAAP methods of accounting.
Skilled in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Ability to work with clients directly, providing Quickbooks consulting, as well as full charge bookkeeping on Quickbooks for clients.
Familiarity with Lacerte tax software for individuals and business entities is a plus.
Strong communication skills needed to train clients on best practices.
CPA is preferred.
We are a small firm which means you will be able to work on a wide variety of projects in financial statement preparation, advisory services and tax.
