Software Quality Assurance Supervisor Job Opening in Cincinnati, Ohio - CSI is searching for a Software Quality Assurance Supervisor for a large, national IT Financial Services company located in Cincinnati, OH. This position will direct the activities and staff in oversight of testing efforts, which include test plans and test cases from business requirements/SSI?s, execution, testing status, tracking software , and verifying software fixes for Production.
The QA Supervisor will assist in assignments of projects and tasks for the eLending QA team. The primary focus of this position is to provide leadership in the Project Lifecycle from inception to the delivery leading to deployment validation in our Production Environment which includes tracking schedules, forecasting availabilities, reporting on schedule statuses, collaborating with PMs and Stakeholders, and ensuring the process is followed with all deliverables completed.
The salary range for this position is 87k-96k plus bonus.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Experienced user of Quality Center
SQL proficiency
Experience in a Leadership position
Ability to prioritize multiple workloads and deliver timely resolutions
Thorough knowledge and use of process improvement and quality management methods, tools, and technology used to create and support defect-free application software or business operations processes for which the quality program will be focused
Considerable knowledge and qualification in company's standard processes and one or more best practices quality approaches (e.g., CMMI, ISO, Six Sigma, total quality measurement)
Thorough knowledge and experience conducting risk analyses; quality assessments, audits and/or studies; and implementing successful process improvement programs
Considerable knowledge of the basic principles, processes, phases and roles of application development methodologies and software development life cycles (SDLC)
Previous mortgage industry experience is desirable but not required
EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES
Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university. Degree in computer science preferred or in a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
