Software Developer - Product Job Opening in Ames, Iowa - The software engineering group is looking for an experienced developer. Requirements:
Thorough working knowledge of Agile software development methods and Test-Driven Development, and what makes them highly effective Very knowledgeable in Linux and C++ and C-variant languages
5 years or more experience in product development focused on software products 1 or more year experience in a Scrum Team Prior Scrum Master experience is a plus but not required
Experience working as a member of a Scrum team on production software projects Passionate about developing code using Agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD, Extreme Programming)
Highly creative and comfortable developing software based off of high-level customer needs and vision statements, not detailed specifications
Great people skills, with a preference to work in a collaborative environment
Good technical problem-solving skills Able to deliver high-quality working code within the sprint boundary
Education:
Bachelor?s degree or higher from an accredited academic institution in computer engineering, computer science, electrical or electronics engineering or other engineering discipline.
