Direct Care/Companion Job Opening in Malden, Massachusetts - Nonotuck Resources Associates () is a community-based agency that provides residential services since 1972 to people with intellectual disabilities. We support people who need assistance to remain living in a home setting. Nonotuck is seeking a caring and compassionate individual who is looking for meaningful work.
Nonotuck is looking for someone who is interested in becoming a companion/care staff for a middle aged woman. She is physically unimpaired but requires attention and would benefit from interactive activity.
The direct care staff will be an additional support to this persons Shared Living Provider, helping to assist her in engaging in her daily life activities.
The Direct Care staff must be patient, kind and energetic and be open to partaking in social, environmental, and physical activities.
The duties of the staff include but are not limited to helping this person build on and maintain independence, as well as providing companionship and going out on community activities and outings.
