Healthcare Administrative Assistant Job Opening in Smyrna, Georgia - Administrative Assistant
Part Time Mon-Fri
This is a part time M-F position that will be full time within 30-60 days if available. The candidate must be able to work independently and reliably with a focus on accuracy and integrity. Position has strong potential for increased responsibility and pay. Experience working with Veterans is a plus
Duties:
Submit claims for patients
Perform clerical, administrative, and scheduling duties accurately and efficiently.
Schedule outpatient / tele medicine psychology referrals, requests, etc. in a timely manner.
Generate productivity reports
Perform steps to interface journal entries created from the payroll process into general ledger.
Process special payments such as retro pay, terminations or bonuses as needed.
Communicate with SkyTherapist providers and patients to schedule daily appointments.
Participate in special projects
Complete manual payroll adjustments and biweekly payroll processing activities
Validate HR entry from source documents and
Other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Advance computer skills including Microsoft applications Word and Excel , Word, and Outlook.
Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills
Good problem solving skills, ambition and dependability a must.
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply basic concepts in new situations
Organizational skills including the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner
Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment as well as work independently and make sound decisions
Ability to pass background check.
Preferred qualifications:
Associates degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, or equivalent years of related work experience
1+ year of Payroll processing experience
Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, detailed oriented and problem solve
Demonstrated Customer Service skills via email and phone
Demonstrate basic personal computer skills including experience with ADP Payroll software and Microsoft applications Word and Excel
Demonstrated Communications skills both written and verbal
