Technical Sales Representative Job Opening in Wolcottville, Indiana - Description:
Currently seeking a full-time Technical Sales Rep to sell products and services to improve plant safety at manufacturing facilities by establishing relationships with clients to build repeat business, focusing on safety, maintenance, and project managers. Must be located in the Mid-South region (preferably Southern TN) and willing to travel.
Responsibilities:
Sales:
Execute current sales methods to reach sales goals by:
Connecting with prospects and leads
Converting to new customers
Maintaining & expanding customers
Following up on open project quotes
Create post sales call videos
Participating in social media program, as well as expanding followers
Technical:
Sketch & design solutions for potential and existing customers
Provide technical support
Administrative:
Document activity with prospects and customers in specific CRM
Sales reports required by supervisor
Assist in developing ?modern? sales methods as market changes
Vehicle maintenance
Development:
Personal development through self-help books, podcasts, seminars, etc?
Other duties assigned
Requirements / Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills presented in a professional manner
Must be organized with good time management skills
Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
Possess proven analytical / problem solving solutions for the customer and company
Technology proficiency including but not limited to Windows, MS Office products, Smartphone, ?
Ability to ?hand-draft? customer project requirements
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed sales goals
Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work locations
Qualifications:
Legally eligible to work in the US
Clean driving record with the ability to communicate, understand, and respond to directions and traffic signs and signals
Minimum of 5 years of outside B2B sales with a proven track record of success, including experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
Previous cold call experience with a background in the safety market and general overview of OSHA guidelines
Compensation:
$30,000 base salary w/ a non-recoverable draw against tiered commission plan
