Outside Sales Technician Job Opening in Indianapolis, Indiana - Sundisc Abrasives is the world?s largest independent abrasive producer, specializing in Flap Discs, Flap Wheels, and Clean and Strip Products. The US location serves as a distribution center, located in St. Louis, MO. As the Outside Sales Technician, you will be responsible for growing our current business by working directly at the end user level in the welding and fabricating industries. You will work in partnership with our national distributor at existing and new accounts. You will be assigned a territory and will be responsible for sales growth within that area. You will have a pre qualified list of accounts to call on. To be successful you must be ambitious, energetic and not afraid to get dirty. You will be trained and fully equipped with what you need to be successful. Some overnight travel is required for the job.
These positions will be filled by people who want to make money growing the business, you will be relentless in your work ethic, the best is expected.
Responsibilities :
Required to demonstrate product on site
You will be provided with a daily sales call schedule
Travel required within your region, which will include overnight stays
You will be responsible for updating our CRM program each day with sales notes
You will report directly to the National Sales Manager
Education and Experience:
Some sales experience is preferred but we will train you if you have the drive and attitude this job requires
Proficient computer skills
Personable, ambitious, hardworking personalities will be most successful in this position
Strong time management skills are necessary
Compensation :
Base pay will be between $25 and 35 K depending upon location and experience
