Staff Accountant Job Opening in Lagrange, Indiana - A family owned Accounting firm is looking to add an experienced Staff Accountant with tax accounting experience to the team. The firm has been providing tax and accounting services to the community for over 30 years.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience, including tax preparation for individuals and multiple types of business entities, as well as accounting and Quickbooks skills. We also prepare a variety of other government forms including payroll taxes, sales taxes, 1099s, business licenses, etc., so a variety of experience is very helpful.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required to help you work with us and our clients. Your personal characteristics of being a person who doesn?t stand on title or role, but acts to get the job done in the best way possible for the client will ultimately provide you with outstanding opportunities in the firm.
The position has significant growth possibilities, for the right candidate who proves him or herself capable of taking care of clients? needs, as you work within the firm.
This is a full time position. Overtime is required, primarily in February through April, and September and October. We use Outlook, Word, Excel, Quickbooks and ProSystem fx extensively.
