Kitchen Sales & Design Job Opening in Norwalk, Connecticut - We are an award winning, family owned business that's growing and needs someone extraordinary to play an integral role in our business. We are looking for a residential designer or interior designer that can act as an account manager for their clients from start to finish, and who has passion and fun working with clients to make their visions become reality. We are looking for someone who?s willing and interested in collaborating closely with the team, continually learning and improving themselves and the company, who can maintain a positive attitude while working hard, and who understands the importance of relationships in a customer-focused business. This is a high-earning opportunity for a goal oriented person with the ability to handle a fast-paced, exciting design and sales environment.
This is a full-time position located in South Norwalk, CT.
Expectations :
Excellent account management and follow through skills ? you will represent our company where customer care is the number one priority.
Attention to detail.
An aesthetic for space planning with cabinetry, lighting and fixtures.
Accurate translation of field measurements into working designs with tight deadlines.
Capable of managing the design process from initial vision through to completion.
Enjoys working with clients and naturally puts customer service first.
Collaborate with management to improve company efficiency and quality.
Communicate comfortably but professionally with customers, vendors and subcontractors.
Enthusiasm for kitchen design, interior design, decor and details.
Comfortable discussing price, budget and sales with customers.
Comfortable working with budgets to ensure sales revenues are met.
Required Skills and Experience :
Comfortable with 2020 Design Software (or strong knowledge of CAD) and product knowledge.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent Organization Skills.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new technology.
Exceptional customer service and sales skills.
Ability to pass a background check.
Must have 3+ years of design experience.
