National Sales Representative - West Coast Job Opening in San Jose, California - Do you have the desire to influence the touchpoint? The drive to not only sell products into national and regional hardware chains but to ensure that they end up on the shelves of local retailers with the correct marketing collateral and positioning? E.A. Langenfeld Associates, a leader in National Retail Services, has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team working out of your home in the San Jose/Surrounding areas. We are seeking an energetic, self-starter who is disciplined and driven to influence the touchpoint on behalf of our clients and customers. To work with our clients in developing sales and marketing strategies and to drive new and existing product sales within the hardware channel. This person will be responsible for handling a diverse group of consumer product categories including housewares, hardware, plumbing and lawn and garden. Some travel and the ability to work at least 4 hardware trade shows per year will be required.
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor?s degree and preferably at least 3 years of experience working in a sales/marketing and/or a retail capacity. Prior experience working within the hardware industry selling to Orchard Supply is a definite plus. Qualified candidates must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are a necessity. This person must be highly organized and have the ability to multi-task.
