Job Description
We are seeking an Accountant for an office located in Altoona, Iowa ! In this position you will play an important role by completing these duties:
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
Create schedules for month-end financial closing
Prepare and analyze weekly capital projects
Perform fixed assets month-end closing process
Maintain depreciation schedule
Job Requirements
We are seeking a detail oriented Accountant who has the ability to work on multiple tasks at once. The ideal candidate for this position would demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interact with both customers and co-workers. Specific qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2+ years of related experience preferred
Experience with Great Plains/Dynamics software
Great Microsoft Excel skills
Self-motivated and forward thinker
