Environmental Tech (399) Job Opening in Tupelo, Mississippi - IH Services, Inc., the leading provider of quality facility management services for manufacturing & industrial, distribution, healthcare, commercial, and educational facilities is in need of an Envionmental Tech for a facility in Tupelo, MS
Must be available for possible emergencies outside of normal working hours
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Responsibilities include:
Picking up all waste, hazardous and nonhazardous, from inside the facility and transporting via forklift to the IH staging area
Keeping records on all waste handled
Organizing and keeping staging area clean and in compliance with all OSHA, EPA, and other agency requirements
Loading trucks to transport waste from the facility (transporting done by outside company)
Roof inspections and clean up of roof to remove any and all waste
Clean up as part of the Spill Response team
Become knowledgeable on all types of waste within the facility and how to handle any waste and spill
Communicate both verbally and in writing with facility management
Must have computer skills
Steel toed shoes are required
MUST be able to pass a drug screen and a background check
