We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager for our organization that will be based in our Walpole Office. The Sales Manager reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is responsible for the oversight of the sales team and is solely accountable to the company?s weekly, monthly and year-end sales targets. The Divisional /Territory Sales Manager will direct the sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement of sales targets, including on-boarding, training and mentorship of the sales force.
The Sales Manager will assist the Regional Sales Manager in increasing sales and profitability for their respective Office by cultivating a well trained and active sales force through coaching and mentoring.
Experience, Education and Training Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of direct sales experience, preferably within the home improvement industry ? minimum of 5-years management experience (including management of sales teams)
Must have canvassed, worked home shows, malls and mailers
Experience in managing direct sales staff, including recruiting, training and mentoring (minimum 5-years)
Demonstrated track record in self-generation of leads and business creation
Experience in developing and implementing sales training programs
Creative and innovative
Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
Positive outlook and takes pride in accomplishments. Overachiever and a ?can-do? attitude with a history of leading high performance teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as exceptional presentation skills
The ability to work in a team environment and successfully and positively communicate with members of other departments, Office peers and customers
Proficient in the MS Office package, including Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel
