Sales Representative candidates must have a strong will to succeed. Our sales teams come from a variety of backgrounds and industries. You don?t have to have automotive sales experience to be successful but you should have experience providing exceptional customer service and previous sales experience is a plus. Customer satisfaction is our top priority and must be conveyed to our entire staff.
Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional customer service experience
Sales including inside sales, outside sales, or restaurant / hospitality sales is a plus
Steady work history and the commitment to starting a new career
Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships and networking (i.e., a ?people person")
Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through with the complete service package
Valid U.S. Driver's license with clean record
Must pass drug screen and background checks to eligible for hire
Sales Consultant Purpose: The vehicle salesperson is responsible for selling vehicles and meeting dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards. This position includes four key areas of activity: personal work habits, prospecting, selling and follow-up skills are a must. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
WE PROVIDE TRAINING RequirementsDuties and Responsibilities:
Build relationships on customer satisfaction and devote himself/herself to customer service
Guarantee satisfaction of customers by ensuring quality assistance.
Determine each customer?s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
Demonstrate vehicles (includes test drives).
Deliver vehicles to customers. The delivery process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle?s operating features, warranty, and paperwork, and it supports the foundation for customer loyalty and retention.
Establish personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals by contacting customers and following up.
Report to the vehicle Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
Keep abreast of inventory, features, accessories and how they benefit customers.
Work with the service department to ensure that vehicles are reconditioned as expected and on schedule.
Attend sales meetings and training offered by the dealership and the manufacturer.
Maintain a prospect development system.
Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business.
Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.
Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product.
Know and understand equity and values, and be able to explain depreciation to the customer.
Know and understand the federal, state and local laws which govern retail auto sales.
Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available at our dealership?s service department.
Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor
Qualifications:
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Valid in-state driver?s license.
