Human Resources Manager Job Opening in Rockledge, Florida - The HR Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all human resources process and initiatives for this company in coordination with Administrator, Department Managers and Corporate Managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of labor relations including facilitating communication, investigations, grievances, arbitrations, litigations, negotiations, as needed in conjunction with the Administrator.
Understand legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance as well as legislation, court decisions, etc. to assess industry trends and HR practices.
Consults with management on recruitment and retention strategies.
Communicate with management regarding employee relations? issues to consistently improve employee morale and productivity while being supportive of company policies.
In conjunction with the Management Team, develops and executes proactive strategies that enhance employee morale, lower turnover, meet financial needs of the Company, and provide a consistent strategy.
Conduct employment reviews with Department Managers and approve salary increases permitted within budgetary limits and according to established policies.
Assess the capabilities of management team and conduct leadership training in performance coaching, conflict resolution, recruitment and selection, harassment prevention, etc. As well as individual executive coaching needs.
Responsible for oversight of employee separation notices and related documentation and exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
Assists employees with accessing their relevant employment information through ADP Work Force Now.
Monitor and update employee documents and ADP for items, such as, pay rates, position changes, employment status changes, and other variables of employment.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and protocols.
Educational Requirements
Associates degree in HR, Business Administration or Health Care Administration required
Additional HR certifications strongly preferred.
Required Work Experience
A minimum of four (4) years of progressive HR related work experience; with a minimum of two (2) years experience of direct report management work experience;
A minimum of four (4) years of working with Healthcare related staff; with a minimum of two (2) years of working as their direct HR supervisor.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability
Solid strategic planning, analytical, and organization skills
Excellent knowledge of human resource management, employment and labor law.
Strong facilitation and mediation skills.
Ability to develop and work in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
Good strategic planning, analytical, and organization skills
Excellent PC skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access software applications.
Strong Knowledge of HR Information Systems; preferably ADP Work Force Now
Solid knowledge of Assisted Living staffing credentials
