Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) Developer Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - TYPICAL CLASSIFICATION ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Designs, develops and maintains the Pinal County ERP JDE/Enterprise One software application.
Monitors application functionality and utilization.
Develops, documents, and implements best practices for managing and supporting the Enterprise Resource Planning ystem.
Manages application security and access.
Researches security and access problems and recommends solutions.
Troubleshoots and resolves data integrity issues within the Enterprise Resource Planning application.
Identifies technical problems which need to be addressed by improved procedures and work standards.
Performs business analysis functions.
Supports the implementation efforts associated with implementing new Enterprise Resource Planning functions .
Tests all changes to the system including configuration, maintenance, and new functionality changes.
Tests or oversees the testing of all functional aspects of the system after such changes in a manner consistent with the changes.
Recommends improvements in processes, or elimination of manual processes using the Enterprise Resource Planning software.
Maintain absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, customer records, and restricted County information.
Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business or related field.
Four (4) years experience working with ERP Applications including Human Resources/Payroll or Financial modules.
Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may substitute for the minimum requirements .
Preferred Qualifications :
Five (5) years' experience working in JD Edwards programming and IT Applications Development desired, including experience with JDE EnterpriseOne 9.0 or higherA significant programming background.
Experience with ERP Applications Systems knowledge, including Human Resources/Payroll and Financial modules with strong knowledge and familiarity with interoperability processes, such as z-file processing and strong troubleshooting experience of interactive applications, UBE and business functions
Training in BI Publisher, JAVA, Web Services, XML, , JDE EnterpriseOne, and developer skills; or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position are highly desired.
Experience with a variety of relational database servers to include Oracle, SQL Server or DB2.
Experience with Financial Report Writer preferred.
System Development Life Cycle, MS Office Suite, SQL, PeopleSoft, Enterprise One, and/or JDE One World developer skills are highly desired.
Valid Arizona State Driver's License.
