Senior Accountant Job Opening in Little Falls, New jersey - Come work with a caring and dynamic team of professionals! Atrium Health & Senior Living is seeking an experienced and motivated individual who will be based out of the corporate office in Little Fall, NJ to join the long term care industry as the Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant is responsible for the preparation of accounting and financial statements. The Senior Accountant shall be well-versed in financial reporting, bank reconciliation, and other general ledger reconciliations. The Senior Accountant is also responsible for cost reporting.
Position Qualifications:
This individual will possess the following as minimum requirements for the position:
Bachelor?s Degree in accounting, finance or related field of study and work experience (seven to ten years) in the accounting field.
Two to five years of relevant work experience in the health care industry.
Possess working knowledge or computer programs including Microsoft Office, Kronos, Sage, Medicare and Medicaid software.
Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality of information.
Demonstration of the ability to work in a team-oriented environment, providing exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Must be capable of functioning independently, with flexibility in schedule or assignments.
Must be able to make independent judgments.
Must possess strong written and verbal communications.
