Responsibilities of the Therapist role include:
Completing initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments
Providing interventions and therapeutic treatment in accordance with the care plan
Selecting and teaching task-oriented therapeutic activities designed to restore physical function and sensory-integrative function
Designing, fabricating and fitting self-help devices
Teaching compensatory technique to improve the level of patient independence
Requirements of the role include:
Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Arizona
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
2 years of recent (in the past 5 years) experience as an occupational therapist
Experience in a home health preferred
BLS CPR Certified
Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
